Avd.com is owned and operated by AVD Audio-Video Distributors (AVD) of Wixom, Michigan.

CREDIT CARD POLICIES: Avd.com accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover Network cards. The shipping address information that you provide must match exactly to a registered address your credit card institution has on file for your account. The card’s billing address is always registered. Information that is incorrect or insufficient results in order processing delays and/or lack of order fulfillment. Avd.com regrets that we cannot ship to post office (PO) boxes. Please call our customer service team to make alternate arrangements.

Fraudulent and/or Illegal Activities Warning- Avd.com fully cooperates with card issuers and law enforcement agencies. We report activity that we believe to be illegal, and/or fraudulent.

ORDER ACCEPTANCE POLICY: Avd.com reserves the right to refuse any order for any reason.

SHIPPING CHARGES AND POLICIES: Avd.com only accepts and expedites orders whose shipping destinations are within the United States of America. Please contact our customer service team for International Shipments.

Upon order approval all orders received by 5 P.M. EST will ship the same day. If any part of your order is not currently available, you will have the option of partial shipping your order. Shipping your order complete will minimize your shipping cost. If you choose to have all of the available stock shipped to you, we will ship the backordered products as they become available. You will be charged for the products and freight charges of each shipment as it leaves our warehouse.

Prices displayed on avd.com do not include freight. All shipping is FOB Wixom, MI, unless indicated otherwise. Avd.com is not responsible for loss or damage to the product once any product has left AVD’s premises.

Avd.com ships via United Parcel Service with a user-selected service level. However, we reserve the right to ship via any other carriers at our discretion. Some products are drop shipped directly from the manufacturer or other source.

You may cancel your order without the accrual of a restocking fee at any time prior to shipping by contacting customer service via telephone.

RETURN POLICIES: Your satisfaction is important to us. AVD and avd.com will gladly accept your return as long as the proper actions are taken and the criteria listed below are met.

You must acquire an RMA (Return Materials Authorization) number from AVD, before, sending back any product, by calling (800) 422-8866.

We accept returns, freight prepaid, that carry an RMA issued within 30 days from the original invoice date.

A 15% restocking fee is charged, on any non-defective merchandise returns. All non-defective return items must be in new, unused, and resalable condition, and must be in the original packaging including any plastic wrap. Once your returned item(s) are received and inspected, we will issue a credit to your account based on payment method.

Closeout and special order products cannot be returned for any reason other than manufacturer defect.

AVD and avd.com reserves the right to refuse any return at its sole discretion.

AVD is not responsible for any data or footage recorded material left on any returned product for any reason.

All equipment and ink products are not returnable unless they are defective.

ORDER MINIMUMS: Any orders with a product subtotal of $75 or less will be subject to a $7.50 small order fee.

TAX POLICY INFORMATION: Avd.com will automatically charge and withhold any applicable sales tax for any orders shipped to addresses within the state of Michigan. The purchasing party is solely responsible for all sales/use taxes or any other applicable taxes for all orders shipped to any state other than Michigan.

ORDER NOTES: During the Check Out process you will be able to include any additional information, instructions, or requests that will help us in the fulfillment and shipping of your order. Examples of this include special receiving instructions, business hours, etc.

TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS AND PRICING: AVD and avd.com reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order, which involves either a typographical error, or incorrect pricing, received from our vendors. AVD retains the right of order cancellation regardless of the confirmation status of your order or the charge to your credit card. If your card has been charged and your order is cancelled, AVD will take the measures necessary to credit your bankcard account appropriately.

PRIVACY POLICY: Your privacy and the security of all your information are very important to avd.com. Please be assured that your name, email addresses, physical addresses, telephone numbers, bankcard information, or any other information shared with us will remain confidential and private. We will use your personal information solely for the purposes of processing and tracking your order only, unless you indicate to us that you wish to receive updates and/or special offers and promotions from us.

All information, which is submitted by you and collected by avd.com, will only be used by AVD and our services on our website. Your information will not be shared with any party that is not involved in the fulfillment of your order.

We may contact you to make you aware of any promotions, products, or services which would pertain to you or your company. You may opt out of receiving any future notifications from AVD either through our website, or by phoning us at (800) 422-8866.

AVD is not responsible for the actions of any third party. AVD may share unique anonymous identifiers with third parties to coordinate advertising and reporting across devices and browsers. PRODUCT GIVEAWAY / CONTEST RULES: In the event that you enter an avd.com or AVD contest, raffle, or prize giveaway the following rules will apply: No purchase is necessary. You may enter the contest upon the submittal of your name, email address, phone number, and shipping location for your prize if you are selected as the winner. You may also be automatically eligible with your avd.com purchase. Entry rules may vary by contest. Unless otherwise stated, you will be limited to one entry per contest. The selected prizewinner will be notified by email, phone, and/or mail. Contests will only be open to United States residents, 18 years or older at the time of entry submittal. Any employee of AVD, its subsidiaries, affiliates, promotional and advertising agencies, their immediate families, and those living in the same household of each, are not eligible. Contests are void where prohibited by law or otherwise restricted. AVD shall never be liable for late, lost, or misdirected entries and/or prizes. All taxes, federal, state and local, along with any licensing, registration, and title fees will be the sole responsibility of the prizewinner. AVD reserves the right to substitute any prize for one of equal value and/or to end any contest at any time. Prize acceptance constitutes permission for AVD and its representatives to use the prizewinner’s name and/or likeness for purposes of trade and advertising without any further compensation.

We reserve the right and may require the winner to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility/Prize Acceptance/Release of Liability Form within 15 days of attempted notification. Any non-compliance during this time period may result in disqualification and the selection of an alternate winner. Any return of any prize notification attempt as undeliverable will result in disqualification.

By participating in any contest, you will automatically place yourself on the AVD mailing list. This mailing list will notify you of any promotions and specials available at AVD and avd.com. Participation in any contest will bind any entrant to these contest rules and the decisions of AVD.

GUARANTEES AND/OR WARRANTIES: The guarantees and/or warranties in regards to all products sold by avd.com and AVD are solely limited to those provided by the product manufacturers.

AVD disclaims all guarantees or warranties, whether expressed or implied, including but not limited to any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose. You agree that AVD, those employed by AVD, the directors, officers, other representatives, successors or assigns, in any event, shall never be liable for any damages including, but not limited to, any indirect, special, consequential, or punitive damages related to the product sold.

You also agree that the exclusive and sole liability, if any, to AVD arising from any item(s) sold through the avd.com website, shall be limited to the purchase price of the item(s) purchased.

DISCLAIMER AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY OF THE AVD.COM WEBSITE: You agree that AVD, those employed by AVD, the directors, officers, other representatives, successors or assigns, in any event, shall never be liable, for any damages arising from the content, operation, or use of the avd.com website. You further agree that this limitation of liability is comprehensive and applies to all damages of any kind. These damages include, but are not limited to any indirect, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

JURISDICTION AND VENUE: By using this website, you agree that any legal actions brought against AVD shall be governed by the laws of the State of Michigan without any regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree that the sole jurisdiction and venue for any/all litigation arising from your use or your orders placed through the avd.com website shall be an appropriate state or federal court located in Oakland County, Michigan. You also agree that AVD has at its sole discretion the choice to process any legal action through binding arbitration with AVD possessing the right to select the arbiter.

ADDITIONAL/OTHER CONDITIONS: These stated conditions supersede any conditions or terms that you include on any purchase order, regardless of whether or not they are signed by AVD. AVD will always reserve the right to make any changes to these conditions and this website at any time.
